2. Purpose and scope

These terms govern direct bookings for experiences, workshops and other in-person activities at Bisanzio Mosaic Studio.

The description of the selected activity, any specific terms provided before booking and our Cancellation and Refund Policy form part of the booking agreement.

Session packages, gift cards, regular courses and private events may have specific terms, which will be provided before purchase. The participation rules in this document will also apply to activities undertaken through these arrangements, where relevant.

3. Activity information

Before booking, you can review the activity’s features, price, estimated duration, availability and included items.

The materials, bases, drinks and other services included will be those specified in the description of your chosen activity. Any extension or additional service involving a charge will require your prior agreement.

Photographs of previous work are for illustrative purposes. Each participant creates their own piece, and the result may vary depending on their design, choices and pace of work, without affecting the agreed features of the service booked.

4. Booking process and confirmation

To make a booking, you must select the activity, date, time and number of participants, provide the requested information and follow the payment instructions.

Before confirming, you will be able to review the information entered, the total amount and the applicable terms. If you notice an error after making your booking, please contact info@bisanziomosaics.com.

Your confirmation will include the essential activity details, any extras booked and the amounts paid or outstanding. Please keep this confirmation as proof of your booking.

Bookings using manual payment methods must follow the instructions and deadlines provided during the booking process. The booking status will be stated in the relevant communication.

These terms can be saved or printed. The booking agreement will be concluded in the available language used during the booking process.

5. Prices and payments

Prices are stated in euros and include applicable taxes.

The total amount, including any applicable supplements, will be shown before you complete your booking. No paid services will be added without your agreement.

You may use the payment methods enabled during the booking process, including cards and Apple Pay through Wix Payments, as well as any manual payment methods offered.

Where booking with a deposit is permitted, you will be informed of the deposit amount and when the remaining balance must be paid. The deposit will be deducted from the total price.

You may request an invoice by providing the information required to issue it.

6. Changes, cancellations and refunds

The deadlines and conditions for requesting date changes, cancelling a booking or receiving a refund are set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which is available before you complete your booking.

To submit a request, email info@bisanziomosaics.com or call +34 603 647 556, providing the name on the booking and the booking details.

The terms communicated and accepted at the time of booking will apply. Subsequent changes to our policies will not retrospectively affect bookings already confirmed.

These terms do not limit your statutory consumer rights.

7. Punctuality

We recommend arriving at the time stated in your booking so you can enjoy the full experience.

If you arrive late, the time available may be reduced to respect the scheduled finishing time and subsequent sessions. We cannot guarantee an extension of your booked time.

If you expect to be late, please contact the studio so we can assess the available options.

8. Activity duration and additional time

The stated duration is an estimate and depends on the chosen activity, the design and each participant’s pace. Please plan your project to fit within the time booked.

During the session, we will support you and advise you on the time available so you can work comfortably and adapt your project to the duration of the experience.

If you would like more time, you can purchase a 30-minute extension per session:

  • When booking online: select the additional-time option. The extension will be included in your booking, and its price will be displayed before you complete payment.

  • During the activity at the studio: ask a member of staff. In this case, the extension will be subject to availability, depending on subsequent bookings and closing times. You will be informed of the price before agreeing to it.

Where the studio’s schedule allows, we may offer some flexibility so you can finish your piece without rushing. This does not guarantee an extension of the session or result in an automatic charge. Any paid extension will be agreed in advance.

If you have other commitments after the workshop, please bear these in mind when choosing your project and planning your time.

The studio’s closing times must be respected in all cases, both during the midday break and at the end of the day. Any additional time must fit within those hours.

9. Participation and use of tools

No previous experience is required for DIY experiences. Specialist courses may have specific requirements, which will be stated in their descriptions.

During the session, we will explain how to use the materials and tools, including cutting techniques where these form part of the activity.

Participants must follow staff instructions and use tools carefully. The result of each piece will depend on the design and the individual creative process.

These instructions do not exclude any liability the studio may have under applicable law.

10. Minors

Participants aged 11 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the activity.

The use of tools will be adapted to the activity and must follow staff instructions.

The booking must be made by a person with sufficient legal capacity. Any specific age restrictions or requirements for an activity will be stated in its description.

11. Specific needs

If you require any adjustments to participate, please contact us before booking so we can assess the available options.

Please provide only the information needed to explain the support you require; there is no need to send medical reports.

12. Conduct and safety

To protect the well-being of the group, violent, intimidating or discriminatory behaviour, or any use of tools that puts others at risk, will not be permitted.

The studio may stop a person’s participation if there is a safety risk or a serious failure to follow instructions.

Any measures will be proportionate and non-discriminatory, respecting participants’ rights.

13. Completed pieces and intellectual property

Each participant may take home the piece they create in experiences that include its creation and handover.

For projects developed over several sessions, you may choose to leave your piece at the studio until the next session or take it home and bring it back to continue working on it. If you decide to leave it, we will coordinate storage and collection with you. For transport, we will explain any necessary precautions according to the condition of the materials.

Participating in an activity does not transfer to the studio any intellectual property rights you may hold in your creation.

The rights to designs, photographs, texts and teaching materials provided by the studio remain with their respective rights holders. Their use during the activity does not constitute general permission to reproduce them or use them commercially.

14. Photographs of artwork and participants

Student artwork gallery

Bisanzio Mosaic Studio maintains a public Pinterest gallery featuring photographs of pieces created by workshop participants. Its purpose is to show examples of projects that can be created and inspire future participants.

With permission from the creator or the person legally entitled to give it, we may photograph and publish the piece in this gallery. This permission is voluntary and non-exclusive, and does not transfer ownership of the work or authorise other uses.

Photographs will be published as work by studio students, without names, profile tags or other information identifying the participant, unless they expressly request or authorise this. We will also avoid displaying signatures, names or other personal information incorporated into the piece itself without permission.

If you would like us to add your name or tag your profile, you can request this and tell us how you would like to be identified.

You may request the removal of a photograph from our gallery by emailing info@bisanziomosaics.com. Removing our post does not guarantee the deletion of copies that other people may have saved or shared on Pinterest.

Images of participants

Participation in an activity and acceptance of these terms do not, by themselves, authorise the taking or publication of promotional photographs or videos featuring identifiable people. We will request specific, separate consent for this.

For minors, we will obtain the permissions required by law.

Declining permission to publish your piece or your image will not affect your participation in the activity.

15. Cancellations or changes by the studio

If Bisanzio Mosaic Studio cancels an activity, you may choose between an alternative that you expressly accept or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.

If we need to make a substantial change to the date, time or another essential feature, we will inform you so you can accept the alternative or request termination of the agreement and the corresponding refund.

These options do not affect any other rights you may have under applicable law.

16. Right of withdrawal

Leisure experiences booked for a specific date or period fall within the exception set out in Article 103(l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. In these cases, the general fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply.

This does not prevent you from requesting changes or cancellations under our Cancellation and Refund Policy, or from making a claim if the service is not provided properly.

This exception will not automatically apply to open-dated session packages or gift cards without a fixed date. Their applicable withdrawal terms will be explained in their specific conditions before purchase.

17. Bookings through external platforms

If you book through an external platform, the booking, payment and cancellation terms communicated and accepted through that channel will be taken into account, while respecting your statutory rights.

Requests must be handled through the relevant channel where necessary to process a change or refund.

18. Data protection

Personal data provided will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website.

Acceptance of these terms does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications or to the promotional use of your image.

19. Enquiries and complaints

You may send your enquiries or complaints to:

Email: info@bisanziomosaics.com. Telephone: +34 603 647 556. Address: Calle Pastor y Landero 31, 41001 Seville, Spain.

Please include your name, booking details and the reason for your request so we can handle it. We will respond to complaints within the applicable statutory timeframe.

20. Applicable law

These terms will be interpreted in accordance with Spanish law, without prejudice to any applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.

Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts or authorities in accordance with applicable law, without requiring consumers to waive their statutory jurisdiction rights.
