In this course, we will learn the basic cutting methods for Venetian mosaic while practicing the use and handling of the tools. During this session, Ana Karina Orellana will guide us in creating a geometric design, allowing us to put all the acquired knowledge into practice. It is worth mentioning that upon completion of the study sessions, students will be able to create their own designs and reproduce them within the Venetian mosaic tradition. The course includes several theoretical files [PDFs] containing all the information related to this technique, from its history, fundamentals, and patterns, to the types of adhesives required for different surfaces.
